Satay Wawi@ Jalan Peel, KL

If you ask me which is my the best satay in KL, i would certainly say Satay Wawi in Peel Road!
For me, its even better than those in Kajang.

It is a stall inside Queen's Restaurant which only opens during late evening till night.

Queen's Restaurant which is just opposite the Shell petrol station or Queen's Park.

That's the stall. I'm not sure which one is Wawi already among the two with apron in this pic.

The satay they made is tender and juicy.
It taste good even without the satay sauce.

I was quite surprise on the flame they use to do the satay since normally with such big fire during BBQ will lead to burnt but this didn't.

Look at the those satays in the flame!

This is how their satay looks like.

Their satay ayam/daging(chicken/meat satay) and ketupat is priced at RM0.70 per stick
while satay kambing (lamb satay) is priced at RM1.00 per stick.

For early reservation, you may call 012-6089258.

My Restaurant @ Pandan Indah

Was searching for place for dinner that night with my family, until we pass by this random restaurant which seems to be full house. So we decided to give it a try.

My Restaurant, don't misunderstood, that's the name of the restaurant....not mine...LOL

Not knowing what is nice, so we just randomly ordered the dish.

....the tofu with vegetables is average.....
(RM18)

Simmered pork is nice!
(RM25)

...vege...nth much special.....taste ok....
(RM20)

this chicken is smooth and tender...taste good!
(RM35)

the fish is well done! steamed to the right time and no stinky fish smell at all!
(RM41.00)

Overall i can say the food here is delicious but i'll rate the cleanliness slightly below average as i can feel the plates that we were using are a bit oily >< maybe due to the high numbers of customers that they did the cleaning in a rush.

My Restaurant
17&19 Pandan Indah 1/23E
55100 Ampang, KL

Dragonfly Pastry Pasta Special @ Time Square, KL

That day was lepak-ing with my friends in Time Square, KL until lunch time, we were thinking hard what to EAT?

We walked round and round until a special deal attracts us in Dragonfly Pastry.
A pastry just opposites KFC at LG floor of Time Square.

So what's the deal?

Here it is! The pasta special deal by Dragonfly Pastry.

Mineral water + pasta + mini cake + ice cream...FOR RM9.90!
and you can mix and match the filling and sauce of the pasta based on your own favourite :D

I'll skip the mineral water part, since its just a normal bottle nimeral water.
So, this is how the pasta looks like....

Italian Tomato pasta with chicken ham

Aglio Olio pasta with spicy tuna

Carbonara sauce pasta with tuna and crab stick

Carbonara & italian tomato sauce pasta with chicken mince

Le pasta is simple but taste good. My friends and i were satisfied with our own choice.
Hope to taste all of the mix and match there but surely it'll takes time..LOL

for the dessert part, there's BOTH cake and ice cream!
(which is different from most of the sets out there where normally choose one among them)

The ice cream is good but for the cake of the day (as above) that i'm having that day is not really my type.
Just wondering what other types of cakes do they serve on other days? haha

Overall, for 10 bucks i think is more worth to have this than visiting other fast food :)

P/S: Dragonfly pastry did not state any duration for this pasta special promotion, so please don't blame me if one fine day its not available any more ><

Tiger Asian Music Festival 2012 @ Sunway Surf Beach

The long-waited musical event - Tiger Asian Music Festival (AMF) has finally rocked Surf Beach of Sunway Lagoon last Saturday, 14 April 2012!!! Paul Wong and Ka Keung, LMF, Jam Hsiao, A-Lin, A-Yue, MC Hotdog and ManHand kept the sell-out crowd entertained with 5 hours of the best urban music that Asia has to offer.

“True to Tiger’s winning moments, Tiger Asian Music Festival 2012 saw the gathering of truthful, progressive and inspirational urban artists and party-goers. Tiger is synonymous with delivering exceptional consumer experiential activities and we are proud to have pushed the bar higher by having brought to life the most progressive sounds of Asia with our Street celebration on the Beach,” said Sean Koh, Marketing Manager of Tiger.

The surf beach was packed with more than 40,000 party goers, many of whom had managed to secure exclusive invites from Tiger’s website, Facebook page, as well as nationwide promotion at Tiger outlets. Instead of using the Exclusive Pass via Tiger's website, I'm glad to receive a VIP invite few days before AMF 2012. Thanks to Tiger and the person who send me the invite (you know who you are :D).

Before the party started, there was a flame show as a welcome act.

In less than half an hour after gates open, the dry surf beach has flooded by party goers!

What's more while waiting for a party to start? Lets RAWR for TIGER!!

As the sun started to set on surf beach, the crowd were brought to life with the opening act from Ka Keung who was swiftly joined by the legendary Paul Wong.

A-Lin followed with their set and Malaysia’s homegrown group, ManHanD was especially well received.  With Jam Hsiao, A-Lin, A-Yue and MC Hotdog in the mix, Tiger AMF was in full flow when LMF hit the stage as the penultimate act.

Well, since i was too far away from the stage with only a digital camera on hand, the following pic is the best shot I can get from where I am. LOL. So there's not much pictures to share this time. But don't be disappointed as there are many nice shots being shared by Tiger's page:-

An awesome fireworks as the perfect ending for Tiger AMF 2012.

Looking forward for the Tiger AMF 2013!

Here's a performance video of Ka-Keung & Paul Wong that night. Enjoy :)
